WHAT WE KEEP
Your name, phone number, the car you asked about, your trade-in and, if you apply for financing, the credit application. That is what a dealer needs to sell, title and register the right car.
WHY WE KEEP IT
To call you back, to text a price or an offer, to arrange financing, and to title and register the car. Nothing else.
WHO SEES IT
The sales desk, the finance manager, the lenders you agree to and our accountant. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to advertisers.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Inquiries for one year. Deal files for seven years, because the state and the IRS both need them.
YOUR RIGHTS
Ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it. Write to sales@basaltmotor.com and you get an answer within 30 days.
