How a trade-in number is decided
Recent auction results for the same car, its condition and its history. We show you the three sales we used.
Questions about a car on the lot? Call (509) 555-0134 and a person answers.
A trade-in offer is not a guess. It comes from what the same car has sold for in the last two months, adjusted for yours.
The comparable sales
We pull dealer auction results for the same year, model and trim within 10,000 miles of yours. Three of them go on the offer sheet.
Condition and history
Tires, brakes, paint and interior are checked on the appraisal drive. An accident on the history report moves the number, and we tell you by how much.
Why the offer lasts 7 days
Auction prices move every week. Seven days gives you time to shop the offer without us guessing where the market goes next.
Shopping for one like this? A person answers, six days a week.
